Cleaning Systems UK Receives Royal Warrant (11/01/2010)
Cleaning Systems UK is celebrating receiving a royal warrant of an appointment as a tradesman to the Queen.
The honour, which will be effective for five years from January 1st, has come in recognition of work carried out by the firm for the Royal Family in
Scotland.
Highly-prized, the Royal Warrants are a mark of recognition of individuals or companies who have supplied goods or services for at least five years to the Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh or The Prince of Wales.
The appointment is for specialist cleaning service and the company can now display the designated Royal Arms on premises, vehicles, stationery and marketing communications.
Cleaning Systems UK distributes, services and maintains carpet and floor cleaning equipment and chemicals from market leaders, Chemspec, CFR, Powrflite, Prochem, Numatic and Truvox. Expansion into floor sanding, sealing, marble polishing and general floor cleaning and maintenance has further enhanced there customer base. A recent distribution deal with Osprey steam machines for cleaning and sanitising interior fittings has opened up another customer stream.
Jamie Pearson, Managing Director, said “To all of us the appointment is the ultimate accolade. In addition to the stringent assessments as to the quality of our workmanship, the security vetting of those involved combined to indicate credibility, dependability and loyalty. The appointment has proven to be a great motivator and will lift our profile and increase our customer confidence.
Specialist cleaning services can be technically challenging, and this is a great reward for services to the Queen provided over the last 10 years. We look forward to being of further service in the years to come.”

Five-Star Finish |
| The Gleneagles Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa is one of Scotland’s most prestigious five star hotels. It is a world renowned venue and as such amongst many famous visitations it was the venue in July 2005 for the G8 Conference. |
|
Great pride is taken in the quality
of the finishes within the buildings
and at that time it was decided
that the marble reception floor
would be a key area to create
a favourable impression to
world leaders and visitors.
Absolute Floorcare a division of Cleaning Systems UK, who also supply machinery and chemicals for the contract maintenance of the hotel carpets, was commissioned to create the “wow” factor to these floors. The results were a great success and the hotel recently again commissioned
Absolute Floorcare to repeat the process. |

A multi stage process creates
a spectacular deep shine
which cannot be replicated
with conventional machinery
and floor pads.
The ability to carry out the
works on a nightshift basis
meant there was no
inconvenience or loss of
business to the hotel and as
you can see the floor looks
great and accurately reflects
the ambience of high quality
associated with
The Gleneagles Hotel. |
|
With the marble being a “soft stone” over time it is prone to surface scratching resulting in a duller appearance which detracts from the epitome of luxury it imparts. Absolute Floorcare use specially modified machinery and industrial diamonds to resurface and polish the stone.
 |
Absolute Floorcare has regularly
under taken other flooring works
within the hotel. The next project
involves a refurbishment of the
gymnasium wood floor which
will receive a full sand, seal and
colour stain prior to the installation
of new gym equipment.
The high quality finish achieved
clearly motivates staff to complete
these projects to tight deadlines
and is very satisfying for all involved.
